This Sunday was Pentecost Sunday, the day we remember the coming of the Holy Spirit.
The Pentecost came forty days after Passover, during the Festival of Weeks. People were in Jerusalem for the Festival, so there were people from all over gathered in the city.
This week, we looked at a passage from John, where Jesus told His disciples that he would be sending a counselor, a guide. Of course, He was talking about the Holy Spirit.
What was the role of the Holy Spirit? What did He do for the disciples? What is role in our lives of faith. These are the questions we looked at in my message Sunday. If you would like to read the message, or listen to the audio recording, click here.
